1. Once you book an appointment, it will be successfully posted in the calendar so you can see its scheduled appointment status.
A. The schedule status page shows the following information, including
- Patient Name will appear in accordance with the patient’s information.
- Visit Number According to the patient’s information, the visit number will immediately be updated.
- Schedule status History The scheduled time is noted in the schedule status history.
- Update Schedule Status with the two measured types, i.e., abandoned and patient arrived, reflected.
B. There are five different sorts of scheduled buttons, where users can modify the status of an appointment, including
- Abandoned – Patient abandonment occurs when a doctor abandons a patient who needs medical care, and it can give rise to a viable medical malpractice claim.
- Patient Arrive – The arrival process for emergency patients, impatients, and scheduled and unscheduled outpatients is closely studied by time-series analysis.
- Patient Engage – Patients must be engaged and activated to participate in their own care in order for clinical services to be truly effective.
- Vital Update – Vital status serves as an indicator of whether a patient is alive or deceased. This value is determined based on a combination of a known birth date and the presence or absence of a death date, as well as whether or not the patient is marked as “deceased” in Epic.
- Check out – Patient check-out is the last opportunity for interaction with the patient prior to their departure from the clinic, so it is very important to make sure they leave fully satisfied with their visit.
2. Click here to change the status as abandoned.
A. The three levels of the abandoned status
- The screen will display the option where users can choose the status after clicking the Abandoned status.
a. Select the abandoned option.
b. State the reason for the abandoned status.
c. Verify both the update and scheduled time. - To update the status, press the update button.
- Users will receive the updated status and their explanation at the next stage.
- The current condition is shown as soon as the user modifies the scheduling status in the Medixcel panel. Then the history of planned status will include their notification.
3. To update the patient arrived status, click here.
A. In the Patient Arrived status, which includes the three levels,
- Click on the Patient arrived
a. Select the “Patient Arrived option.
b. Check the scheduled time and Updating - Then click on the update button to update the status.
- Users will receive the updated status and their explanation at the next screen.
- The current condition is shown as soon as the user modifies the scheduling status in the Medixcel panel. Then the history of planned status will include their notification.|
4. To update the patient engaged status, click here.
A. In the patient engaged status, which includes the three levels
- Click on “Patient Engage”
a. Select the Patient Engage option.
b. Check the scheduled time and update. - Then click on the update button to update the status.
- Users will receive the updated status and their explanation on the next screen.

5. To update the patient vitals status, click here.
A. In the Patient vital status, which includes the three levels,
- Click on the vital status.
a. Select the vital option
b. Check the scheduled time and update. - Then click on the update button to update the status.
- Users will receive the updated status and their explanation on the next screen.

6. To update the patient check -out status, click here.
A. In the patient check- out status, which includes the three levels
- Click on “Check out”
a. Select the Check- out option.
b. Check the scheduled time and update. - Then click on the update button to update the status.
