This article will guide you to how Designing and functioning the prescription template.

1. Click on management module on the control panel.

2. Select the Prescription template from the management module.

3. Once you click on the prescription template, you will get the prescription template manager.

4. To create a new prescription template, click on the add new button

Users need to fill up the following fields to “Add Prescription Template” such as

• Template name :- Template name should be required while selecting the prescription which is perfect for hospital or clinic doctors for prescribing medication to their patients.
• Template description:-  Template description should be required to identify the prescription use for general consultation 
• Generic Name :- A  generic name, which is the drug’s ‘active ingredient’ that makes it work.
• Drug Name :- Drug name, which is given by the pharmaceutical company that markets the drug
• Formulation:-  A formulation is a mixture that has been designed to do something useful. It is formed by mixing together several different substances in carefully measured quantities to ensure the medicine has the required ingredient. 
• Strength :- if 10 mg of a powder in a vial is mixed with 5 ml of diluent, the strength is 10 mg in 5ml
• Dosage :- The dose is the amount of drug taken at any one time. This can be expressed as the weight of drug (e.g. 250 mg), volume of drug solution (e.g. 10 mL, 2 drops)
• Days :- Doctors need to take a drug at a specific time of day depending on the medication and the condition doctors are treating.
• Route of Administration :- A medication administration route is often classified by the location at which the drug is applied, such as oral or intravenous. 
• Instruction :- In the instruction column users can put the  instruction according to the drugs indication 
• Dose :-A dose is a measured quantity of a medicine, nutrient, or pathogen which is delivered as a unit.
• Principle Complaints :- The principle complaint is a concise statement describing the symptom, problem, condition, diagnosis, physician-recommended return, or other reason for a medical encounter
• Diagnosis (ICD-10) :- CD-9/ICD-10 are acronyms used in the medical field that stand for International Classification of Diseases, ninth/tenth revision.
• Use of the prescription template :- The frequent use of four to five medicines can be formed in the one group of assigning the same disease patient

5. Once you create the prescription template it will be reflected on a doctor consultation page in prescription helper.

• Highlighted box will show the list of prescription template.

6. Here we add one example to understand the function of the prescription template.

• For example
  Here, we construct a single prescription template called “Medicines for Typhoid Fever,” which will appear when you type its name into the prescription template box.

• Their result is show in below image – according to the selected prescription templates the medicines will get auto added in prescription helper
• You can further edit it in case of any edits required
