This article will guide you to add MLC patient in the appointment calender. To view, adding an appointment for a new patient click here
1. Click on the “Appointment Calendar” module on the Control Panel.
2. Click on the Add New Appointment Button.
3. Search the patient by Patient Name, Number, Mobile Number or Aadhar Number. Once you enter the parameter and click on search, you will find the result under the Patient Search Results.
4. Click on the patient’s name under the Patient Search result, and the demographics of the patient will appear on the right side under Patient Information.
5. Confirm the details and click on “Add Patient Visit.”
To add the MLC data, the user needs to follow below steps
A. Select the date and time of the appointment.
B. Add the MLC case, 1st referral, 2nd referral, ordering physician.
- 1st referral doctors means a written order from your primary care doctor for you to see a specialist or get certain medical service
- 2nd Referral doctors means a patient who has been sent (referred) for a second opinion or therapy to a specialist or subspecialist, because the patient has a disease or condition that the primary or referring physician cannot, or does not wish to cure
- Ordering Physician means a person legally qualified and licensed to practice medicine and legally authorized to request genomics testing
- Is MLC :- MLC should be required in the appointment details while taking an appointment in the legal case so that click on the Is MLC to add the medical lagal case
C. Need to select consultation type from the drop down option.
- Audio – for audio consultation appointment
- Video – for video/tele consultation appointment
- Normal- for physical/walk in appointments
D. Select the channel partner & channel type
- Channel partner is a company or individual who works to deliver services on behalf of a company’s software, hardware, networking, or cloud offerings.
- The term “channels types” refers to the routes that a good or service must take in order to reach the target customer. Depending on the amount of intermediaries involved
E. In the next tab user needs to select the service details.
- Select the modality
A modality is the way or mode in which something exists or is done. You might often see it used with reference to diagnostic modality, which is the way in which a disease or illness is diagnosed by a doctors - Select the Study name based on specific selected modality
- Select the doctor
- Select the room
F. Select the Is MLC check box the below screen will be open.
In the MLC Details includes the following point such as
- MLC NO. :- Here MLC number is required to identify the medical case while treating the patient
- Police Station Name :- Police station name will be required to identify the case on which police station
- PSI/Constable Name :-The name of the constable in charge of this case should be required so that hospital staff can contact him or her if anything happens to the patient.
- MRD MLC Registration No.:-
- FIR Date :- FIR Date should be required while admit the patient
- Date and time :- Date and time should be required while admit the MLC patient
- Type of Medico Legal Case :- here users can select the types of medico legal case according to the patient situation for example
Injuries due to accident - Special Note :- In the Special Note users can put the important message in the writing box
- Document Upload :- Here users can upload the patient legal document
- Is Concern Taken :- if concern taken yes then in the upload consent option users can choose the consent form
- Upload consent :- Here users can upload the consent form for future data base
G. Based on selected services unique bill will be created
- In the billing tab includes bill no, bill dates and bill name and here we can add the other service rates, such as contrast,procedure, usage rate, other study categories as well as miscellaneous item rates
- Based on added charges a grand total bill is generated where users can further add for discounts in %, discount in Rs.
- Tax get added if its set against the particular service
- Basis on these additions final bills of net amount is generated for payment
H. Payment details
- In the payment details we have options like Cash, Credit card, Debit card, Cheque, contract, transfer to patient, patient credit, online to process the bill
- Partial payment facility is also available , in case of a partially paid bill, it will show the pending amount details
I. Notification
- We have 2 options to send notification alerts to doctors and patients via SMS and email.
- You can set predefined templates for SMS and email alerts
6. Now enter the appointment details, select service, and service providers, review billing details, and click on Save
7. The appointment will be saved successfully and listed on the Appointment Calendar.
8. To check the MLC helper click on the service which are display in the appointment
9. Once you click on the service the doctor consultation page will be open where users get the MLC Details helper
- Here users can check the data which was fill up while taking a the appointment but only Date and time and FIR date should be reflected automatically according to the registration date
- Here users can upload the Case related document in the Document upload option
- In the MLC Doctor Notes users or doctors can put the important notes for future treatment
- Once you fill up all the data, click on the save option
10. Once you save the MLC details then MLC screen will be available for print the MLC report as well as MLC certificate
A. MLC Report
In the MLC report include the following point such as
- Patient Basic Details :-
a. Patient Name
b. Patient Number
c. Gender
d. Date of birth
e. Age
f. Email
g. Mobile no.
h. Address
i.Visit ID - MLC Details :-
a. MLC NO. :- Here MLC number is required to identify the medical case while treating the patient
b. Police Station Name :- Police station name will be required to identify the case on which police station
c. PSI/Constable Name :-The name of the constable in charge of this case should be required so that hospital staff can contact him or her if anything happens to the patient.
d. MRD MLC Registration No.:-

B. MLC Certificate :-
Here is the format of the MLC certificate where users need to fill up the data such as
- Patient Name :- Patient name should be required in the MLC certificate for identify the specific patient certificate
- Date of the MLC case :- Date should be required in the MLC case
- Service name :- Service name should be required to identify the treatment on specific service
- Time of arrival :- Time should be required to specify the arrival time
- Diagnosis :- Diagnosis should be mandatory while create the certificate
- Doctors signature :- Doctors signature should be required for finalised the certificate
- Degree & Registration Number should be required for finalised the certificate
11. Once the bill has been generated, you can download as well as print the report in pdf format.
A. Download the bill by clicking on the download option which is reflected in the left hand side of the screen
B. Print the report by clicking on the print option which is reflected in the left hand side of the screen.
